Your students will receive high quality, impartial advice and guidance to help them make informed decisions about their future.

Our services are designed to include individual careers guidance and additional activities with the aim of inspiring and raising the aspirations of your students. The following are examples of the services we can provide and can be tailored to meet your individual requirements.

Impartial Careers Advice and Guidance – Years 7 - 13

  • Individual Careers Guidance for students including a Career Action Plan.
  • Group activities – Assemblies, Careers/PSHE lessons and small or class size groups including options at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, Focus and Enterprise Days

  • Higher Education Advice and Guidance.
  • Advice and guidance on all options after 17/18.

Employability Skills and Post 16 Transition Support

  • Job Seeking and Employability Skills for individuals and/or groups.
  • Support those at risk of becoming NEET to help find employment, education or training.
  • Tracking of Students for destinations data.

Additional Needs (SEND, vulnerable, disadvantaged and gifted and
talented students)

  • Liaison with Essex County Council’s Children and Young People with Disabilities Service, IAG Team

  • Employability skills and support with smooth transition to college or training.
  • Individual and group activities for Gifted and Talented students.
  • Individual and group activities with students on Flexible Learning/Alternative Education Programmes.

Parents/Carers Consultative and Careers Events

  • Attend parents events to provide guidance to students and parents/carers
  • Organise and/or support Careers Fairs/Events.
  • Appointments with parents/carers in schools/academies.

Co-ordination of Careers and Work Related Education (CWRE) Programme

  • Work with Heads of Year, Curriculum Heads and Pastoral Support teams to plan and review CWRE  strategy and activities for students in Years 7-13.

  • Support and advice on maintaining up-to-date impartial Careers Information Resources.
  • Liaise with relevant agencies including Employers, Further and Higher Education and Training Providers.

Advisory and Consultancy Services

  • INSET for staff delivering Careers Education and Work Related Education (CWRE).
  • Support to design, implement and review strategies and practice for key CWRE targets.
  • IAG related preparation for OFSTED.
  • Support and advice on Intended Destination Survey, September Guarantee and Activity Survey.
  • Professional Supervision and Observation of Practice.
  • Support with achieving and maintaining quality awards.
