Additional Needs (SEND, vulnerable, disadvantaged and gifted & talented students)

Directions offers individual Careers Guidance meetings with an experienced Careers Adviser, professionally qualified to level 6/7.   This is an opportunity to students to talk about their ideas and plans for the future.

 

A Career Action Plan will be produced and shared with the student and school/academy (with permission).

 

Targeted group work can be delivered on a range of focused activities at key transition points including employability skills, option choices at 14, 16 & 18.

 

Directions has strong links with Essex County Council’s Children and Young People with Disabilities Service and works closely with their Preparing for Adulthood Advisors, including support with transition to college or training.

 

Directions offers individual and/or group activities for identified students.
